我是展柜大小姐章婭妮,你也可以叫我Suki.
這是我發(fā)給國外客戶的第一句開場白,我想告訴他們我是中國的工廠,有中文名,為了方便,也可以叫一個簡單的英文名。以前為了迎合老外,會特意發(fā)英文,不用中文,甚至郵箱、號碼各種還不用國內(nèi)的,現(xiàn)在一切都以中文為開端,可能在內(nèi)心,我們對中國自己生產(chǎn)的產(chǎn)品越來越有信心了,老外想找高端工業(yè)品也得來中國。
10月份,我保持著一周去3次工廠的節(jié)奏,因為下個月馬上預(yù)產(chǎn)期了,身體顯得有些笨重,一周有一半時間居家,在家的時候,跟客戶的聯(lián)系也沒有斷,說真的,現(xiàn)在在哪里客戶都可以聯(lián)系上我,不一定非要到工廠,在家每一天還是要及時把推廣做了,其余什么都可以不做,但是2小時的推廣不能停,只能做完才可以去休息。
不過最近是外貿(mào)好了很多,光是伊朗這個國家,就有3批不同的手表進(jìn)口商找到我,至于他們是怎么找到我的,我也沒有細(xì)問。
他們都是要批量做手表陳列道具,鋪到實體店里用,其中一位客戶,下個月他要來中國,已經(jīng)約好要到工廠里來看看,做手表展柜又做手表道具,全世界應(yīng)該都找不出第二家工廠,所以這就是做一個大單品的好處,容易找到精準(zhǔn)客戶,我們就是要做全世界的手表品牌,而且是奢侈品手表。
還有一個伊朗客戶是國內(nèi)的外貿(mào)公司介紹的,王先生是長期做外貿(mào)手表加工、組裝,前兩年找我也做過一批道具去參展,這次他的客戶問他有沒有展柜道具工廠,王先生就說第一時間就想起我,因此也把客戶的聯(lián)系電話給了我。目前還在跟他洽談中。
第三位伊朗的客戶他目前在廣州,之前做過一次手表道具,不過做工非常差,他很不滿意,就開始找新供應(yīng)商,也找到了我,我們聯(lián)系上,他竟然也可以用中文字發(fā)給我,那我們完全沒障礙啊溝通。
在溝通中,我是深深感受到,不會開口說英語的苦,如果我們口語流利,對做業(yè)務(wù)會提高很多倍的效率,不用文字一來一回,其實電話或許10分鐘就溝通完了,而且客戶會對我更加記憶深刻,看來,英語不能放下。

My name is Zhang Yan Ni, but you may also call me Suki. This is my opening greeting to international clients. I wish to inform you that I am from a Chinese factory with a Chinese name. For convenience, I also have a simple English name. Previously, in an effort to cater to foreign clients, I would exclusively use English for communication, avoiding Chinese elements such as email addresses and phone numbers. Nowadays, everything starts with Chinese, reflecting our growing confidence in the quality of products made in China. Foreign buyers looking for high-end industrial goods now often turn to China.
In October, I maintained a schedule of visiting the factory three times a week. As my due date is next month, my body has become somewhat cumbersome, so I spend about half of the week at home. Despite being at home, I remain in contact with clients. Truthfully, clients can reach me no matter where I am; it’s not necessary to be physically present at the factory. Each day at home, I ensure that I complete my promotional work within two hours. Everything else can wait, but these two hours of promotion cannot be skipped before I rest.
Recently, there has been a significant improvement in foreign trade. Just from Iran alone, I've received inquiries from three different watch importers. While I haven’t asked them in detail how they found me,
they all seek bulk production of watch display fixtures for physical stores. One client plans to visit China next month and has already scheduled a visit to our factory. Being both a manufacturer of watch cabinets and display fixtures, we are quite unique globally, which highlights the advantage of specializing in a niche product. It helps us find precise customers easily, aiming to serve luxury watch brands worldwide.
Another Iranian client was introduced by a domestic foreign trade company. Mr. Wang specializes in watch processing and assembly for export. He previously ordered a batch of display props from me for an exhibition. This time, when his client inquired about a display fixture factory, Mr. Wang immediately thought of me and provided my contact information. We are currently in negotiations.
The third Iranian client is currently based in Guangzhou. He had a previous experience with watch display props that he was very unsatisfied with due to poor craftsmanship. Consequently, he started searching for new suppliers and found me. Interestingly, he can communicate in Chinese characters, making our communication seamless.
Through these interactions, I deeply understand the limitations of not being fluent in spoken English. If I were more proficient in English, it would greatly enhance business efficiency, allowing for quicker verbal communications instead of back-and-forth written exchanges. A ten-minute phone call could accomplish what might take much longer through text, and it would leave a stronger impression on clients. Therefore, I must not neglect my English skills.
