昨天下午處理了一個(gè)發(fā)到香港再發(fā)到中東的外包裝箱麥問題。真心感覺到，行業(yè)經(jīng)驗(yàn)都是需要積累的，有經(jīng)驗(yàn)的工廠效率高的多，能考慮到客戶未考慮的事，師傅還得是師傅。

這次外箱人工返工就花了2天時(shí)間，還不算上買材料的費(fèi)用，還有三方溝通的時(shí)間。自己總結(jié)了以下幾個(gè)點(diǎn)，希望這次經(jīng)驗(yàn)謹(jǐn)記，以后不再犯同樣的錯(cuò)誤，不給客戶帶去麻煩。

1. 沒有貼產(chǎn)地證。之前每次制作展柜和道具發(fā)到國外也都并沒有貼，所以自然而然，覺得這次也沒什么特殊之處，照往常制作就可以。所有貨品都打包好裝箱裝到卡板上包好，這時(shí)候客戶來電說一定要貼產(chǎn)地證，一個(gè)箱子里面要貼一張。
   
   

2. 制作外箱印刷的內(nèi)容要跟客戶反復(fù)確認(rèn)。我們的箱子都是定制，除個(gè)別單獨(dú)定制的，只要批量制作都是用定制紙箱，印刷內(nèi)容是客人提供，我們來排版設(shè)計(jì)好，給到他們確認(rèn)，這次內(nèi)容是沒有問題，但是在數(shù)量那一欄總箱數(shù)卻沒有確認(rèn)好。
   
   

   因?yàn)榭傁鋽?shù)沒有控制好，導(dǎo)致呢就要改數(shù)字，第一次說白色用美紋紙，發(fā)現(xiàn)不美觀，后來說用黃色的美紋紙，還是不美觀，那只能出去采購牛皮紙，牛皮紙還有3種顏色，選了一種跟我們這個(gè)紙箱最接近的一款，這樣貼上去，再寫上數(shù)字，確實(shí)是美觀一些，但是這里也有一個(gè)點(diǎn)，我應(yīng)該在電腦上排版好打印出來再貼外箱，而不是手寫，速度既快又美觀。
   
   

3. 發(fā)到國外的卡板最好都用塑料的。之前每次發(fā)陳列道具出去都是用木料卡板，發(fā)柜臺(tái)都是夾板木箱打包，也沒覺得有什么異樣，無論是空運(yùn)還是幾十天的海運(yùn)沒有讓貨品損壞。這次本來都用木料卡板打包好了，客戶又突然來電說要用塑料卡板。

   
   

   其實(shí)從化學(xué)方面耐腐蝕和防潮角度來講，塑料比板筆木頭的和鋼卡板都要好，承載量也好，不會(huì)說叉車一抬，就軟趴趴往兩邊倒，使用壽命倒是都差不多，但是價(jià)格塑料卡板會(huì)比木頭卡板高60%。最后是環(huán)保方面，塑料卡板是環(huán)保材料，所以出口是免檢的，是木頭的話得做商檢，商檢又要幾百費(fèi)用。

   
   

   自昨天這么一出，下次出口必須用塑料卡板，哪怕成本貴一點(diǎn)也要和客戶說清楚。
   
   

4. 道具裝到卡板上最好采用井字型的安裝方法。這種形式我之前一直看到，但沒注意過，昨天問到我們的裝車師傅，才明白不能順著裝，要錯(cuò)開裝，這樣每箱之間才能受力，運(yùn)輸過程不容易散開，還真是每個(gè)細(xì)節(jié)都是門道，你以為的裝車就是搬貨很簡單，但是怎么裝，可以達(dá)到什么樣的效果，那就有差異了。
   
   

5. 限高。出口限高度1.5米，下次要問清楚客人限高的問題，好決定用幾個(gè)卡板，多少重量，怎么裝箱，不至于返工重裝。
   
   

   每一次錯(cuò)誤，都能吸取經(jīng)驗(yàn)和成長，把每個(gè)要點(diǎn)總結(jié)好，下次就不會(huì)再犯，讓客戶和同事都少走彎路。

Yesterday afternoon, I handled an issue with the outer packaging boxes for a shipment destined for Hong Kong and then to the Middle East.

I truly feel that industry experience is something that needs to be accumulated. Factories with experience are much more efficient and can anticipate things that clients might not consider.

The rework on the outer boxes this time took two days, not including the cost of materials and the time spent on communication among three parties. I have summarized several points from this experience, hoping to remember them and prevent from making the same mistakes in the future, thereby avoiding inconvenience for our clients.

1. Failure to Attach the Certificate of Origin: Previously, when we shipped display cabinets and props abroad, we did not attach these certificates, so it naturally seemed that there was nothing special about this shipment and we proceeded as usual. All the items were packed and loaded onto pallets, but then the client called to insist that a certificate of origin must be attached to each box.
   
   

2. Content Verification for Outer Box Printing: The content printed on our custom boxes should be repeatedly confirmed with the client. For bulk orders, we use custom cardboard boxes with content provided by the client, which we then layout and design for their approval. This time, the content was correct, but the total number of boxes was not verified.
   
   

   Because the total number of boxes was not controlled properly, we had to change the numbers. Initially, we used white masking tape, which looked unappealing. Then, we tried yellow masking tape, which also did not look good. Finally, we purchased kraft paper, which comes in three colors, and chose the one closest to our box color. After sticking the kraft paper and writing the numbers, it looked better. However, a better approach would have been to create a digital layout on the computer, print it, and then attach it to the box, which would have been both faster and more aesthetically pleasing.
   
   

3. Use Plastic Pallets for International Shipments: Previously, we always used wooden pallets for shipping display props and plywood boxes for counters, and we never noticed any issues, whether by air or sea freight lasting several weeks. This time, after the wooden pallets were already packed, the client suddenly called to request plastic pallets.

   
   

   From a chemical perspective, plastic is more resistant to corrosion and moisture compared to wood and steel pallets. It also has better load-bearing capacity and does not deform easily under the weight of a forklift. While the lifespan is similar, plastic pallets are 60% more expensive than wooden ones. Additionally, plastic pallets are made from environmentally friendly materials and are exempt from inspection for export, whereas wooden pallets require commercial inspection, which incurs additional costs.
   
   

   From now on, we will use plastic pallets for exports, even if the cost is higher, and we will clearly communicate this to our clients.
   
   

4. Use a Cross-Stacking Method for Loading Props onto Pallets: I have seen this method before but never paid much attention to it. Yesterday, I asked our loading supervisor and learned that props should not be stacked straight but should be staggered. This ensures that each box is supported and reduces the risk of shifting during transportation. Every detail matters, and what seems like a simple task of loading can have significant differences in outcome depending on how it is done.
   
   

5. Height Limitation: The height limit for export shipments is 1.5 meters. In the future, we must clarify the height limitations with the client to determine the number of pallets, the weight, and the packing method, to avoid the need for rework.
   
   

Each mistake provides an opportunity to learn and grow. By summarizing these key points, we can avoid repeating them in the future, saving time and effort for both our clients and colleagues.
