今天我還想寫一下低價(jià)接展柜訂單的事。
其實(shí)我是很反感這個(gè)事情的。
有個(gè)客戶,他是外省的就希望我們給他做,他又想品質(zhì)好,又想價(jià)格低,但是我覺得這個(gè)世界上沒有說真正意義上說的那種物美價(jià)廉的東西,你要價(jià)廉,它就一定要么偷工要么減料做,是吧?
要物美,肯定價(jià)格就貴,包括現(xiàn)在我們的員工啊你不給錢,你錢給不到位,你怎么好意思要求人家像雷鋒一樣給你干活呢?我要求他打磨打5遍,你錢不到位,但是他就偷懶就打3遍就交差了。
我只是舉一個(gè)例子,就是在工藝操作方面的一個(gè)例子,不一定說都是這樣,所以你很多時(shí)候品質(zhì)好,東西好,都是靠價(jià)格來支撐的,包括我們也是,你給員工連最起碼的工資待遇你都給不到位,你怎么要求人家給你好好做東西,好好幫你做展柜,他做不好那就意味著我們的交付做不好,那我們給客戶的交付品質(zhì)他不滿意,就是其實(shí)這個(gè)生意展柜生意都不長久,所以現(xiàn)在我們就確定了一個(gè)新的方向:我只做好的東西,而且價(jià)格一定會(huì)比同行高,逐漸逐步地對標(biāo)國際上的一些大品牌。
以前呢他說唉呀這個(gè)訂單嘛便宜點(diǎn)就便宜點(diǎn),現(xiàn)在不行便宜做不了,而且說實(shí)話對于我們很多客戶來說,其實(shí)他是不在乎那幾萬塊錢的,真的,愿意多花點(diǎn)錢買點(diǎn)好產(chǎn)品。
我們的客戶不是說做一些小生意的,他們都是做珠寶啊、翡翠啊、珍珠啊、黃金啊投入都很大,一家店上千萬沒見個(gè)影子。我們的這種展柜/道具是開店里面的九牛一毛,但展柜又非常重要,因?yàn)樗歉a(chǎn)品最直接相關(guān)聯(lián)的,客戶都都是通過展柜來接觸產(chǎn)品,一家店現(xiàn)在投入1000W太正常了,好多都是2000-3000W這樣投入進(jìn)去,我們做展柜才幾個(gè)錢?
展柜一般的店鋪(不是奢侈品店)也就30W以內(nèi),對客戶來說根本不影響,他幾千萬都投了,他還在乎你這幾萬嗎?但是你如果東西做不好,啊天吶!會(huì)扒了你一層皮,所以現(xiàn)在就是我還是希望能把交付做好,價(jià)格方面的話就確實(shí)會(huì)比同行貴很多。
但是呢就是因?yàn)檫@樣反而你訂單還多,真正要好展柜的客戶他反而越來越信任我們,他就愿意找我,他覺得我們能把他的這個(gè)展柜東西做好,貴一點(diǎn)就貴一點(diǎn)就貴幾萬塊錢又不是貴幾十萬幾百萬,一家店鋪保守開15年,展柜比別人貴3萬,一年多花2000元,一天只是多5.4元,半份盒飯錢,卻能讓店里的店員用的舒心,不用擔(dān)心會(huì)有損壞,客戶看著高檔。

Today, I also want to write about the issue of accepting low-priced exhibition stand orders.
Frankly speaking, I am quite opposed to this practice.
There was a client from another province who wanted us to work for him. He expected high quality but also a low price. However, I believe that in this world, there truly isn't such a thing as something being both good and cheap. If you want it to be cheap, it inevitably means cutting corners or using inferior materials, right?
If you want high quality, the price will definitely be higher. This applies to our employees as well; if you don’t pay them adequately, how can you expect them to work like Lei Feng? For example, I might require an employee to polish something five times, but if the pay isn’t sufficient, they might just do it three times and call it a day.
This is just one example in terms of operational procedures, and it doesn’t mean everyone does this, but often, good quality and excellent products are supported by higher prices. This includes us as well. If you can’t even provide the most basic wages and benefits, how can you expect your employees to produce high-quality work or help you make good exhibition stands? Poor work leads to poor delivery, which in turn leads to customer dissatisfaction, making it difficult for the business to sustain itself.
Therefore, we have set a new direction: we only make high-quality products, and our prices will certainly be higher than those of our competitors, gradually aligning with international brands.
In the past, we might have thought, “Oh, this order is a bit cheaper, but that’s okay.” Now, that’s no longer acceptable. We can’t afford to take on low-priced projects. Honestly, for many of our clients, a few ten thousand yuan more or less really doesn’t matter. They are willing to spend more to get better products.
Our clients are not small-time traders; they deal in jewelry, jade, pearls, gold, and other high-value items. A single store might invest tens of millions of yuan, and the cost of exhibition stands is just a tiny fraction of that. However, exhibition stands are crucial because they are the most direct link between the product and the customer. Customers interact with the products through the stands. It’s very common for a store to invest 10 million yuan, and many invest 20 to 30 million yuan. The cost of our exhibition stands is relatively minor.
For a typical store (not a luxury brand), the cost of exhibition stands is usually within 300,000 yuan, which is insignificant compared to their overall investment. If a client spends tens of millions of yuan, they won’t mind spending a few ten thousand more on high-quality stands. But if the quality is poor, oh dear! It could be disastrous. Therefore, I hope to focus on delivering high-quality products, even though our prices will be significantly higher than those of our competitors.
Surprisingly, this approach has led to more orders. Clients who truly value high-quality exhibition stands trust us more and are willing to work with us. They understand that while our prices may be a bit higher, it’s only a few ten thousand yuan, which is far from being several hundred thousand or millions. A store that plans to operate for at least 15 years would only incur an additional cost of 2,000 yuan per year, or 5.4 yuan per day, which is just half the cost of a boxed meal. However, this ensures that the store staff are comfortable, there’s no worry about damage, and the customers see a premium look.
