上個月遇到一個澳大利亞悉尼的客戶,他是在當(dāng)?shù)刈鋈?、豪宅裝修的,準(zhǔn)備跨界做奢侈品店鋪的裝修,也是因為在當(dāng)?shù)赜泻芏噘Y源,然后在國內(nèi)找供應(yīng)商。
他通過幾個渠道聯(lián)系到我,看過我寫的文章、視頻,還看了我們的官網(wǎng),才決定加我的微信號的。有要求的客戶都是這么謹(jǐn)慎,但是成交率也高。
我們電話溝通了大約快1個小時,以前,會感覺,還沒做業(yè)務(wù)呢,就這么麻煩,聊一個小時,沒什么耐心了。但是現(xiàn)在,恰恰越是這樣花時間跟你溝通的,越是可以成交的真實客戶。正是因為他對品質(zhì)、對工廠、對訂單有要求,所以才會費(fèi)盡心思找工廠,篩選工廠,跟我們洽談,越是沒有要求的客戶,永遠(yuǎn)只有一句話“多少錢?”“太貴了”......
經(jīng)過交談之后,第二天,我提出可以先寄展柜定制的基礎(chǔ)材料,因為ANDY需要的是高端奢侈品牌的制造質(zhì)量,不是普通的材料,高端材料意味著成本貴,造價也高,因此沒辦法給他免費(fèi)配送,而且我們隔著兩個國家,還有國際快遞空運(yùn)的費(fèi)用。
Andy表示非常理解,他讓他國內(nèi)的搭檔給我們的銀行卡轉(zhuǎn)了3000元人民幣。算是買樣品的費(fèi)用。這...我還沒開口說,他就說這樣3000元夠了嗎?不夠您說,總之樣品材料要最好的,包裝也要好,加上空運(yùn)運(yùn)輸?shù)馁M(fèi)用。
我心想,有點(diǎn)腔調(diào)。我做展柜銷售2年了,有時候客戶出圖3000元都要磨好久,樣品很多時候還要免費(fèi)的,而這個客戶樣品費(fèi)直接就匯夠額了,讓我暗暗爽了一把。
從收到款之后,我就特別積極這事,從展柜制作的材料細(xì)分類開始著手,比如說玻璃都是用的國內(nèi)最好的超白玻金晶的,從6毫米、8毫米、10毫米、12毫米 分別配一塊10*10厘米大小的方塊,再貼上中英文標(biāo)簽好區(qū)別。還有燈光,我們自主研發(fā)的和市面上用的從3500K色溫到6500K色溫都配齊一條,還加了一個明緯的變壓器??酒嵘甯挥谜f,啞光、亮光,亮光還分做5遍油漆、做10遍、做15遍,帶拋光和不帶拋光效果的色板,工工整整的十多塊色板。
還有木皮材料、軟裝布藝、皮藝材料、五金材料,每種都是寄了一本板供選擇??蛻魧Υ虑檎J(rèn)真,愿意掏錢買單,我們自然就更加認(rèn)真了,做展柜廠30多年以來,我們還沒有辜負(fù)過任何一位準(zhǔn)客戶,連續(xù)15年沒有收到一起質(zhì)量投訴事件。
外包裝特地買了一個登機(jī)行李箱來裝,這樣客戶拉出去也方便,與客戶的每一次互動都是展示公司產(chǎn)品和精神的機(jī)會,郵寄樣品也是,體現(xiàn)了我們的一個專業(yè)度。

Last month, I met a client from Sydney, Australia. He specializes in whole-house and luxury mansion renovations and is planning to expand into the luxury store renovation business. Due to his extensive local resources, he is looking for suppliers in China.
He contacted me through several channels, having read my articles, watched my videos, and visited our official website before deciding to add me on WeChat. It's true that discerning clients tend to be cautious, but they also have a high closing rate.
We had a phone conversation that lasted almost an hour. In the past, I might have felt that it was too much trouble to spend so much time on a potential deal, lacking patience after such a lengthy chat. However, now I understand that the more time a client spends communicating with you, the more likely they are to be a genuine customer who will close the deal. Clients who have specific requirements for quality, the factory, and orders are the ones who meticulously search for and screen factories, and engage in detailed discussions with us. On the other hand, clients without such demands often only ask, "How much?" and then respond, "It's too expensive..."
After our conversation, the next day, I suggested sending him samples of the basic materials for custom-made display cabinets. Since Andy needed the manufacturing quality suitable for high-end luxury brands, which means using premium materials with higher costs and prices, I couldn't provide them for free, especially considering the international courier fees between two countries.
Andy expressed full understanding. He asked his partner in China to transfer 3,000 RMB to our bank account as payment for the sample materials. Before I could even mention the amount, he asked if 3,000 RMB would be enough, emphasizing that the materials must be of the highest quality, and the packaging should also be excellent, including the cost of air freight.
I thought to myself, this guy has class. Having worked in display cabinet sales for two years, I've encountered situations where clients would haggle over a 3,000 RMB design fee, and often expect free samples. This client, however, immediately transferred the required amount for the samples, which made me secretly pleased.
After receiving the payment, I became particularly proactive about this matter. I started by carefully selecting various types of materials for the display cabinets. For instance, we used the best ultra-clear glass from Jinjing, providing 10x10 cm square samples in 6mm, 8mm, 10mm, and 12mm thicknesses, each labeled in both Chinese and English for easy identification. As for lighting, we included a range from 3500K to 6500K color temperature, featuring both our self-developed and market-standard options, along with a Mean Well transformer. For the lacquer finish samples, we prepared matte and gloss finishes, with the gloss finish available in 5, 10, and 15 coats, both with and without polishing, presenting a total of over ten meticulously crafted samples.
Additionally, we sent samples of wood veneers, soft furnishings, leather materials, and hardware, each category represented by a comprehensive selection of options. When a client is serious about their project and willing to pay, we naturally become even more dedicated. With over 30 years of experience in the display cabinet industry, we have never disappointed any prospective customer, maintaining a flawless record of no quality complaints for the past 15 years.
For the outer packaging, we specially purchased a carry-on suitcase to ensure the samples were easily transportable for the client. Every interaction with a client is an opportunity to showcase our products and company ethos, and sending samples is no exception; it demonstrates our professionalism.
