我認為對客戶呢還是要誠實一點,不要說為了接單而去哄騙、甚至是欺瞞欺騙客戶,就很不好。弄得我們自己名聲不好,信譽不好,客戶也不開心。
事情是這樣的。
一個湖南的吳總,他是做黃金店鋪,一個100多平的金店,但他呢比較著急開業(yè),他大概是20天之后就開業(yè),很著急找這方面制作的工廠,其實他的柜臺數(shù)量還可以的,制作金額也相當可以,他剛剛來看過工廠,對我們工廠的認可度也很高,來廠看過的客戶,90%都是很滿意的,我們從里到外透露出來的制造業(yè)氣息。
當時我也實話跟他說,我說我們做不好,時間太緊急了,你20天之后要開業(yè),我們100%做不好。
最快的時間至少也得25天,能幫你保質保量的交給你,這是最快的時間。確實就差這么5天,工廠生產趕不出來。為什么這么說呢?因為我們工廠也有很多其他訂單在做,不是只做這一個訂單,很多客戶都是定好時間開業(yè),也拖延不得,每一個環(huán)節(jié)各部門都有交期安排。
如果是很多其他的展柜工廠呢,其實可能是會為了接下這筆訂單,因為訂單金額還不錯,利潤還不錯,接下這筆訂單,反正先哄著,到時候找個借口跟他說,延期了,延幾天很正常,怎么樣?這是工廠慣用的借口了。
客戶也沒辦法,但是我不想這么說,不想欺騙客戶,他剛剛來我就跟他說了,我說我不想欺騙你,到時候搞得你也不開心,我們又很焦慮,我說我們做就得25天,這個你要考慮一下,實在不行你可以找別的廠做。
對待客戶還是要誠心一點,因為全天下訂單很多的,我們一定還是要找自己合適的,他認可我的,時間、費用、各方面都談妥的去做?,F(xiàn)在不能再說,哎呀,為了接一筆訂單,然后幫客戶硬趕啊怎么樣,然后最后搞的東西沒做好,承諾沒做到,兩頭撈不到好,還耽誤了客人的進度。

Mr. Wu from Hunan runs a gold shop covering over 100 square meters. He is eager to open his store in about 20 days and is urgently looking for a factory to produce the display counters. The number of counters he needs is substantial, and the production amount is significant. He recently visited our factory and was highly impressed. Typically, 90% of clients who visit our factory are very satisfied with the manufacturing atmosphere and quality we offer.
At that time, I was honest with him and said, "We cannot deliver the counters in time. Twenty days is too tight for us to ensure quality. The minimum time required is 25 days to complete the order with the necessary quality and quantity." This is indeed a five-day difference, but our factory has many other orders in progress. Each client has a set opening date, and delays are not acceptable. Every department and production stage has a strict schedule.
Many other display cabinet factories might accept the order despite the tight deadline, given the decent order value and profit margin. They might initially reassure the client and later find excuses to delay, saying things like, "There was a delay, but it's normal." This is a common tactic used by factories.
However, I do not want to resort to such tactics. I do not want to deceive Mr. Wu. So, I told him right away, "I don't want to mislead you. If we can't deliver on time, it will make you unhappy and us anxious. We need at least 25 days to complete the order. Please consider this, and if it doesn't work for you, you can find another factory."
It is important to treat clients with sincerity. There are many orders out there, and we should focus on those that are a good fit for us—where the client trusts us, and we agree on the timeline, cost, and other terms. We shouldn't compromise our standards just to secure an order, rush the production, and end up delivering subpar quality. This not only fails to meet the client's expectations but also damages our reputation and disrupts the client's plans.
