隨著原木風、新中式的興起，做展柜的客戶也越來越多流行做木紋了，當然做陳列道具使用木紋的頻率也高。

為了展柜造型的美觀，我們展柜工廠也在積極研發(fā)各種能做木紋的工藝，怎么能在異形展柜上做出各種木紋，有高端的展柜，也有一般造價的展柜。

10多年前，比較常用的是貼木紋紙，木紋紙有各式各樣的，價格便宜，畢竟是紙張，但是有一個缺點，紙張的紋路顯假，不真實，再做上厚厚的油漆，做出來一看就像個假瓷器，不真實。

后來漸漸改進，工廠把木紋紙給徹底淘汰了，開始用木皮，木皮可有學問了。

木皮就是以原木為材料，將其切割成0.1mm~1mm的木皮，經(jīng)過浸泡、烘干、以及特殊工藝加制而成，然后鋪貼在展柜等表面上。實木貼皮通常分為兩種：厚皮和薄皮。厚皮木紋立體效果強、質感好；薄皮較為透明且容易磨損 優(yōu)點：實木貼皮可以做成各種各樣烤漆和木飾面，適合的風格也多種多樣。

原材料價格比木紋紙翻了十幾倍，而且我也是在摸索中發(fā)現(xiàn)木皮有那么多竅門。有厚度的區(qū)分，0.3mm適合中低端家具，0.6mm耐磨耐用適合中高端家具，0.9mm最堅固適合高檔家具。選擇木皮時要考慮基材質量、制作工藝等因素。

0.3mm：這種厚度的木皮較薄，適合制作一些外觀要求不高的中低端家具，如書桌、餐桌等。由于厚度較薄，其耐磨性和耐用性相對較弱，但成本較低。

0.6mm：相比于0.3mm的木皮，0.6mm的木皮更加耐磨，且不易變形和開裂。因此，它更適合制作一些外觀和品質要求較高的家具，如衣柜、酒柜等。這種厚度的木皮在保證美觀性的同時，也提升了家具的耐用性。

0.9mm：這種厚度的木皮相對于前兩種來說更加堅固和耐用，適合制作一些高檔家具，如實木美式家具、歐式家具等。它不僅具有優(yōu)異的耐磨性和耐用性，還能更好地展現(xiàn)出實木的質感和紋理。

說明中的家具可代替成展柜，同意思理解。之前我還不知道，原來木皮市場“減料”現(xiàn)象這么嚴重！一樣的價格買，但是木皮的厚度卻越來越薄，木皮一薄，我們貼皮師傅一貼容易破，后期的養(yǎng)護也起不到作用，容易破邊。

在發(fā)現(xiàn)這種情況后，每一次的木皮送到，都要檢測過厚度，我告訴供應商，你可以加錢，但不能對我的材料動手腳。

As the popularity of rustic and contemporary Chinese design trends increases, so does the demand for wood grain finishes on display cases and fixtures. Our exhibition cabinet factory has been diligently researching methods to apply wood grain textures on unconventional shapes, accommodating both high-end and budget-friendly projects.

A decade ago, wood grain paper was widely used for its variety and affordability. However, its artificial appearance, especially when covered with thick layers of paint, resulted in an unconvincing look, often likened to fake ceramics.

Improvements were eventually made, leading to the complete replacement of wood grain paper with veneer. Veneer, sliced from solid wood into thin layers ranging from 0.1mm to 1mm, undergoes processes such as soaking, drying, and specialized treatments before being applied to surfaces. There are two main categories of solid wood veneer: thick and thin. Thick veneer offers a pronounced three-dimensional effect and excellent texture, whereas thin veneer is more transparent and susceptible to wear.

The cost of raw materials for veneer is several times higher than that of wood grain paper. Through practical exploration, I have learned about the nuances of working with veneer, including different thicknesses. A thickness of 0.3mm is suitable for mid-to-low-end products; 0.6mm is more durable and less likely to deform or crack, fitting for mid-to-high-end applications; and 0.9mm is the sturdiest, best suited for high-end pieces. Choosing veneer involves considering aspects such as substrate quality and craftsmanship.

When translating the mentioned furniture into display cabinets, the implications remain consistent. Previously, I was unaware of the severe "material reduction" phenomenon in the veneer market—buying veneer at the same price but receiving increasingly thinner materials. Thinner veneer is prone to tearing during application and demands more maintenance, resulting in poor edge integrity.

After identifying this issue, we now check each delivery of veneer for proper thickness. We inform suppliers that they can raise their prices but must not tamper with our material quality.
