博物館展柜的玻璃跟其他展柜的玻璃有很大的區(qū)別，根據(jù)展品的不同相應(yīng)的會選擇不同的玻璃材質(zhì)。

相對來說超白玻璃用的很廣，它的通透性好，具有無影效果深受博物館的喜愛，在博物館主要是展覽為主，開啟的時間并不多，裝飾效果要求不高，但是由于博物館展如果展出的是纖維類紙質(zhì)類的文物，它害怕有害光線的照射，容易褪色老化等，因此很多博物館都有明文規(guī)定，不準拍攝，主要是對文物起到一種保護作用，那么超白玻璃則要通過特殊處理，進行防UV處理，它能有效的隔絕，來保護文物。

超白玻璃的厚度選擇跟博物館展柜的大小有關(guān)，像立在中央600x600x1600的博物館展柜，它的厚度8厘就足夠了，但是如果是靠墻的博物館展柜則要根據(jù)大小和形狀去選擇玻璃，像很大的1200x2800的這么大的博物館展柜它的厚度達到12厘，如果有不銹鋼做推拉的玻璃門厚度則10厘就夠了，這個得咨詢有經(jīng)驗的博物館展柜設(shè)計師，他會根據(jù)設(shè)計的博物館展柜的形狀尺寸去選擇玻璃的厚度。

博物館展柜里的玻璃很多還具有防爆防彈功能，尤其是價值連城的展品，他不但在玻璃展柜布置有體溫感應(yīng)紅外線感應(yīng)等的報警系統(tǒng)，連博物館展柜上的玻璃也是經(jīng)過防爆防彈處理過的，安全性能是首先考慮的問題。

在博物館里有些展品是需要有一定的濕度的要求的，則相對應(yīng)的玻璃要經(jīng)過防霧化處理，避免參觀里面的展品都是蒙查查的。

博物館里的展品各式各樣，不但有靜態(tài)的還有動態(tài)的，特別是高科技之類的，他們就有個沖擊試驗，那么做的玻璃要具有防沖擊功能。采用夾膠工藝比較多，簡單的說就是兩層玻璃，中間用透明膠做緩沖，或者直接弄成真空，有效的防止沖擊和起到靜音的效果，博物館不是菜市場，它需要安靜，面對有沖擊試驗這些機械運動所帶來的噪音，采用夾膠玻璃是很好的選擇，同時它的透光率要達到92%以上，這個要注意一下。

Ultra-clear glass is widely used due to its excellent transparency and shadow-free effect, which is deeply favored by museums. Museums are primarily for exhibition purposes, with limited opening hours and relatively low decorative requirements. However, when it comes to displaying fiber-based or paper-based artifacts, these are particularly vulnerable to harmful light exposure, which can lead to fading and aging. Therefore, many museums have explicit rules prohibiting photography to protect the artifacts. Ultra-clear glass undergoes special UV-resistant treatment to effectively block UV rays and protect the artifacts.

The thickness of ultra-clear glass is determined by the size of the museum display case. For instance, a centrally-placed display case with dimensions of 600x600x1600 would suffice with 8mm-thick glass. However, for wall-mounted display cases, the glass thickness needs to be selected based on the size and shape. For a larger display case with dimensions of 1200x2800, the glass thickness may reach 12mm. If there is a stainless steel sliding glass door, a 10mm thickness would be sufficient. It is advisable to consult experienced museum display case designers, who can select the appropriate glass thickness based on the shape and size of the designed display case.

Many glasses in museum display cases also possess anti-explosion and bulletproof functions, especially for valuable exhibits. Not only are alarm systems such as temperature sensors and infrared sensors installed in the glass display cases, but the glass itself undergoes anti-explosion and bulletproof treatment. Safety is the primary consideration.

Some exhibits in museums require a certain level of humidity, and the corresponding glass undergoes anti-fogging treatment to prevent the exhibits from appearing blurry.

Museums house a wide variety of exhibits, including both static and dynamic ones, especially those related to high-tech. These exhibits often undergo impact tests, and therefore, the glass used must possess anti-impact properties. The laminated glass process is commonly adopted, which simply means two layers of glass with a transparent adhesive as a buffer, or it can be made into a vacuum to effectively prevent impact and achieve soundproofing effects. Museums are not like markets and require a quiet environment. For exhibits with impact tests and other mechanical movements that generate noise, laminated glass is an excellent choice. Additionally, its light transmittance should reach over 92%, which is a crucial factor to consider.
