陳總的展柜是6月底下的訂單，經(jīng)歷了40多天終于做好出貨。

今天一早打包好安排專車發(fā)貨過去店里安裝，工廠一直是出貨前結(jié)清，不做賒賬生意，每位客戶在合作前合同上我們都有備注好，一個是施工細節(jié)，第二個是交期，第三個是結(jié)款方式。

陳總是一位很爽快也是死磕細節(jié)和品質(zhì)的人，溝通細節(jié)時來了工廠2次，設(shè)計的造型和選的顏色配套的皮料等等，后來在制作期間也來了兩次，能對自己下單的展柜這么上心的客人真的不多。

前一晚他還去了香港，在境外不方便轉(zhuǎn)款，他也立即叫家人給我們工廠全款匯了過來，貨前款清，這是工廠的紅線，碰不得，有一次我也因為心軟想給客人一個例外，但是財務(wù)和發(fā)貨人員把我給兇了一頓，導致一個下午悶悶不樂，如果我自己都破了規(guī)矩，那以后別的同事做業(yè)務(wù)怎么辦，標準要一致。

這一點我要向陳總學習，多看多學，在工廠有一些外發(fā)協(xié)作的配件，不能偷懶，要多跑，制作期間要多去供應商工廠那，看看人家是不是按要求做的，如果不是按要求做的還可以及時調(diào)整不會耽誤交期。

并不是工廠沒有人，也不是流程不明確，當我們自己全權(quán)負責整個業(yè)務(wù)的時候，你不得不學會工藝制作，工廠里的事無巨細，搬到臺面上都是無足掛齒的小事，但是往往因為一件小事會影響整個交期。

更何況我們工廠是偏向高端定制展柜的方向，并不是流水線式的操作，一個螺絲一個帽這么簡單。很多展柜款式大家都是第一次制作，細節(jié)圖拆分的非常詳細，但是制作流程，包括五金件都是開模定制，第一次開模做的不行，模具廠就要調(diào)整做第二次，這樣的事情會很多，所以我們廠接了客戶這筆訂單，得給他負責到底，做的產(chǎn)品要達到國內(nèi)一線品牌的標準。

愿意這樣做柜臺的工廠不多，站在工人的角度，又簡單又快做好，站在工廠的角度，有量的訂單最好。量不多又復雜的柜臺就沒人愿意制作，我偏偏撿這塊市場去做。

Mr. Chen placed an order for his display cabinets at the end of June, and after more than 40 days, they were finally completed and ready to ship. This morning, we packed them up and arranged for a dedicated truck to deliver them to his store for installation. Mr. Chen is a very straightforward person who pays great attention to detail and quality. He visited our factory twice during the design phase to discuss shapes, colors, and material selections. He also came by twice during production to check on progress—a level of involvement that is quite rare among clients.

The night before shipment, Mr. Chen was in Hong Kong and thus unable to transfer funds due to being overseas. However, he promptly arranged for his family to make the full payment to our factory. Clearing payments before shipment is a non-negotiable rule for us. I once considered making an exception for a customer but was strongly advised against it by my finance and logistics teams. If I were to bend the rules, it would set a problematic precedent for future business dealings and consistency.

From this experience, there is much to learn from Mr. Chen. When dealing with external suppliers for parts of the project, one must be proactive and vigilant, ensuring that all components meet the required standards to avoid delays.

This isn't because there's a lack of personnel or clarity in procedures. When taking full responsibility for a project, one needs to understand the manufacturing processes and manage every detail meticulously. What might seem like minor issues can have significant impacts on schedules.

Our factory specializes in high-end custom display cabinets, which require a higher degree of craftsmanship compared to mass-produced items. Each cabinet is often a unique piece, requiring detailed planning and sometimes custom molds for hardware. If the initial mold doesn’t work out, adjustments must be made, leading to additional iterations. We take pride in fulfilling orders to the highest standards expected by premium brands.

Not many factories are willing to undertake such complex projects where each piece is unique and requires precision. From the workers' perspective, simpler and faster jobs are preferred. From the factory's standpoint, larger volume orders are ideal. Yet, I have chosen to focus on this niche market, striving for excellence despite the challenges.
