【372大小姐說展柜】不到2年的展柜變形掉漆,出于信任,高端眼鏡店找鑫峰定制展柜

深圳的高總我們是在去年4月份通過網(wǎng)絡(luò)認識的,高總他從事眼鏡行業(yè)20余年,自己旗下也有1個高端定制品牌。他說之前采購過眼鏡展柜,踩了幾個巨大的坑,采購了一批粗制濫造的展柜。


試了幾個廠家都和供應(yīng)商鬧的不愉快,所以他也在尋找新的供應(yīng)商,找到了鑫峰展柜廠的章婭妮。近一年他看了我寫的很多文章和視頻,覺得我是個很靠譜的人,鑫峰展柜廠規(guī)模很大,歷史悠久。


高總先是邀請了我去廣東省就近的一個旗艦店看他之前做的展柜,我去到現(xiàn)場,跟街鋪賣的大眾眼鏡那氛圍確實是不同,光3米之外看是沒有問題,我們緩緩走進一米,“別有洞天”。


抬頭一看,變壓器竟然直直的裸露在外面,這是絕對不符合我們的安全和美觀原則的,而且有客戶或者營業(yè)員用手去觸碰更危險,這種施工問題完全是廠家不留意,怎么方便裝燈條就這樣裝了,而且LED燈珠直射非常刺眼,應(yīng)該是要加個燈罩。


高總帶我們參觀還說了,整店100多萬的裝修,用了不到2年柜臺就發(fā)生變形掉漆,包皮料的部分全部翹起,他也非常憂傷,總是沒有找到好的供應(yīng)商,他找的也是眼鏡業(yè)內(nèi)做了好多年的工廠,每做一家店就出細節(jié)問題。


接下來又看了玻璃和木質(zhì)結(jié)構(gòu)配合的部分,縫隙大的嘞,可以伸進去一個小拇指,我告訴他高端展柜的配合縫隙必須要控制在2毫米之內(nèi),這對施工制作要求極高,鑫峰展柜廠的展柜的緊配合也保持在2毫米以內(nèi),是同行難以超越的做工。我做展柜告誡我們工廠同事,要有匠人精神,要不怕麻煩,而且專門做別人不喜歡做的或者說復(fù)雜的做不了的展柜,哪怕我們的工藝原地打轉(zhuǎn),別的廠家也要3年才能趕得上。


又看了整店中間的展示柜,整體是用超白玻璃制作的,超白玻璃的透光率和還原度是最強的,我們都是用國產(chǎn)第一品牌的超白去做,有些客戶也會要求要用美國進口的,但是他們這做到現(xiàn)場的柜臺,框架是用超白玻璃,抽板是用青玻制作,就好比穿了5萬元的阿瑪尼西裝,配了一條5元的皮帶。

高總他自己也是非常郁悶,怎么花了不少錢,做出來的展柜還是很多問題,他又帶我們?nèi)サ讲贿h處另外一家店。


遠遠看去也是沒有任何問題,靠近看細節(jié),因為我們逛街是9米之外被門頭招牌吸引進店,走進店里之后,又是1米之內(nèi)的近距離駐足購物,這個時候玻璃是距離你和產(chǎn)品最近的東西,隔著玻璃看柜臺里面陳列的眼鏡。而高總做的又是高端的定制眼鏡,隨便一副都是5位數(shù)起,那怎么處理玻璃細節(jié)顯得尤為重要,他說之前柜臺運過來的時候,玻璃上是沒有水印的,差不多就是在10個多月之后,水印就慢慢的顯示出來。


這是打在玻璃上的膠水出現(xiàn)了問題,高總的柜臺做的是全透明的,沒有裝燈條,全靠頂上的射燈來照亮,采光是夠的,他們用的是無影膠,無影膠是一種必須通過紫外線光照射才能固化的一類膠粘劑,紫外線肉眼看不見,是可見光以外的一段電磁輻射,波長在10-400nm的范圍。無影膠固化原理是UV固化材料中的光引發(fā)劑在紫外線的照射下吸收紫外光后產(chǎn)生活性自由基或陽離子,引發(fā)化學(xué)反應(yīng),使粘合劑在數(shù)秒鐘內(nèi)由液態(tài)轉(zhuǎn)化為固態(tài)。而且膠水幾秒鐘定位,一分鐘達到最高強度,提高了工作效率。


在剛開始制作時不會有任何問題,聽名字就知道無影膠,“無影”,意思就是固化后完全透明沒有痕跡,長期不變黃。確實這個膠水可以做到這樣,所以深受廣大施工人員喜愛,可是時間久了,無影膠會產(chǎn)生厚的膠層,這層膠不容易固化,會產(chǎn)生氣泡,膠水的白化現(xiàn)象又是一個普遍性問題,或多或少都有這種問題,選擇高質(zhì)量的膠水會稍微改善,而且施膠時不能用太多。


我們工廠對于此類問題的解決方法有很多種,改進的標(biāo)準(zhǔn)一定是讓整體更美觀細節(jié)更好,而不是把工序改的更簡單,不是的。從玻璃上改進,避開一定要使用無影膠的部位,可以看到下面拍的這張圖,使用了2年的柜臺整個都布滿了氣泡和水印,它的玻璃呢不是45度拼角的,我們就會使用酸性玻璃膠,這也是透明的,加上得當(dāng)?shù)牟寄z手法,可以做到無痕、10年時間不泛白不變黃,而且牢固,因為滲透的位置深。


用這種膠布膠的工序會比無影膠工時多上3倍,大多數(shù)同行都不會這樣做的,這樣做對于工廠來說是增加了成本,許多師傅也不愿意這樣操作,人的心理都是“能交差就行,客戶不投訴就行”,客人短時間內(nèi)收到貨也看不出變化。但是我良心上過不去啊,要做就一次從制作習(xí)慣完善好。


包括在其余不同展柜類型上的展柜玻璃膠也是保密的,使用的是跨界的國際一線品牌,透明不變黃,彈性好過所有同行,畢竟一個工廠存在了30年,一定有我們自己的制作訣竅。


【成長感悟】

量變才能引起質(zhì)變,總是要經(jīng)過一段沉默期的積累,少則半年,多則2-5年,但是我特別幸運,在展柜這個行業(yè),又在父輩有積累的基礎(chǔ)上,比別人至少少走了5年的彎路,少吃了很多虧。從我做網(wǎng)絡(luò)銷售的第一天起,就是每月有訂單不斷,3黑天鵝零影響,而且不賒賬不做低價低質(zhì)產(chǎn)品,經(jīng)過這5年時間的不斷打磨和學(xué)習(xí),從當(dāng)年的一個小白現(xiàn)在已經(jīng)可以獨當(dāng)一面完成一個項目。

Prepare to Open an Eyewear Store? You Must Read This Article!


Mr. Gao from Shenzhen and I met online in April last year. Mr. Gao has been in the eyewear industry for over 20 years and owns a high-end custom brand. He mentioned that he had previously purchased eyewear display cases and fell into several significant pitfalls, procuring a batch of poorly crafted displays.


He had unpleasant experiences with several manufacturers and suppliers, prompting his search for new partners. He found XinFeng Display Cabinets and myself, Zhang Yani. Over the past year, he read many of my articles and watched my videos, concluding that I am reliable and that XinFeng Display Cabinets is a large-scale and historically established company.


Initially, Mr. Gao invited me to visit one of his flagship stores in Guangdong Province to see the display cases he had previously installed. Upon arriving, the atmosphere was markedly different from typical street shops selling mainstream eyewear. From a distance of three meters, everything seemed fine, but as we approached within a meter, the issues became apparent.


Looking up, I noticed the transformers exposed directly, which is entirely against our principles of safety and aesthetics. It poses a risk if touched by customers or staff. Such construction issues stem from manufacturers taking shortcuts in installation, and the direct glare from LED lights should ideally be softened with a diffuser.


During the tour, Mr. Gao pointed out that despite the store’s million-dollar renovation, the counters began to warp and peel within two years. The leather-covered sections were peeling off, causing him much distress. Despite selecting suppliers with extensive experience in the eyewear industry, each store faced similar detailed issues.


We then inspected the combination of glass and wood structures, where the gaps were large enough to fit a small finger. I explained that for high-end display cases, the clearance should be controlled within 2 millimeters, requiring extremely high standards of construction. XinFeng Display Cabinets maintains tight tolerances within 2 millimeters, a level of craftsmanship difficult for competitors to match. I emphasize to my colleagues that we must embody the spirit of craftsmanship, not fearing difficulties, and specialize in complex cabinets that others might shy away from. Even if our techniques remain stable, it would take competitors three years to catch up.


Inspecting the central display cabinets, we noted they were made from ultra-clear glass, known for its superior light transmission and color fidelity. However, the counters he showed me used ultra-clear glass for the frame but green glass for the sliding panels, akin to wearing an Armani suit of 50,000 yuan with a 5 yuan belt.


Mr. Gao himself was quite frustrated, wondering why he spent a lot of money yet still encountered numerous issues with the display cases. He then took us to another nearby store.


From a distance, everything looked fine, but upon closer inspection, the details revealed the flaws. When shopping, customers are initially attracted by the signage from 9 meters away, and once inside, they stand within a meter of the display to examine the merchandise. At this point, the glass is the closest element between the customer and the displayed eyewear. Since Mr. Gao specializes in high-end custom eyewear, with each pair priced in the five figures, ensuring the glass is flawless becomes crucial. He mentioned that when the counters were delivered, the glass was watermark-free, but after about ten months, watermarks began to appear.


The issue arose from the adhesive used on the glass. Mr. Gao's counters were designed to be completely transparent, without LED strips, relying instead on overhead spotlights for illumination, which provided sufficient lighting. They used UV-curing adhesives, which must be cured under UV light. UV light is invisible to the naked eye and occupies a portion of the electromagnetic spectrum outside the visible range, with wavelengths between 10 and 400 nanometers. The curing mechanism involves photoinitiators in the UV-curing material absorbing UV light, generating active free radicals or cations, triggering polymerization reactions that transform the liquid adhesive into a solid state within seconds. The adhesive sets within seconds and reaches maximum strength in a minute, improving efficiency.


Initially, there were no issues with this method. However, over time, UV-curing adhesives can form thick layers that are harder to cure, leading to bubbles and whitening phenomena, a common issue to varying degrees. Using high-quality adhesives can mitigate this problem, but the amount applied must be controlled.


Our factory employs various methods to resolve such issues, aiming to enhance overall aesthetics and improve details rather than simplifying processes. Instead of using UV-curing adhesives, we opt for acid-based glass sealants, which are also transparent. When applied correctly, these sealants can achieve an invisible bond that remains clear and yellow-free for up to ten years, providing strong adhesion due to deeper penetration.


Moreover, the types of sealants we use across different display cabinet models are proprietary, sourced from international top-tier brands known for their transparency and resistance to yellowing, with superior elasticity compared to all competitors. After all, a factory that has existed for 30 years must have its unique techniques and secrets.


【Reflection on Growth】

Quantitative change leads to qualitative transformation. Success often requires a period of silent accumulation, ranging from half a year to 2-5 years. I consider myself fortunate to have entered the display cabinet industry with a foundation laid by my predecessors, avoiding at least five years of detours and setbacks. Since the day I started online sales, orders have been consistent, unaffected by the three black swan events, and without resorting to credit sales or low-quality products. Over the past five years, through continuous refinement and learning, I have grown from a novice to someone capable of handling projects independently.
