【347大小姐說展柜】神仙客戶,愿意加費用制作展柜

這位客戶是2023年8月31號和我聯(lián)系加上好友,也是一個珠寶品牌負責人,總部在廣西。


大約過了一個月,她帶著她們公司一行人來考察工廠,因為她們一定是要投入到線下門店的,而且是高端定位的門店,因此就需要專業(yè)的設(shè)計團隊和制作展柜、道具的工廠來配合。


我記得那天是下午,她們一共3個人,從深圳趕到了東莞企石鎮(zhèn),我們工廠是在鎮(zhèn)區(qū)??催^工廠之后,我一直對我們的產(chǎn)品生產(chǎn)有信心,有句話叫做“來過鑫峰廠的客戶,90%都會下單”,這個不是吹牛,而是我經(jīng)過這兩年的來訪記錄而得出的真實概率。


這其中的一年時間,我們聯(lián)系甚少,只有一兩次的交流,我還是在專心賣展柜,提高品質(zhì),逐步對標國際一線品牌是我們的目標。


果不其然,今年的7月份,客戶找我了。


這次是一家在萬象城的中島店,萬象城一直以來以奢侈品、高標準、東西賣的貴出名,對入駐的品牌商家、裝修都有很高的要求。所以客戶還是想找我生產(chǎn)此次的中島展柜。


我一看她們的圖紙,好家伙,這么復雜!真不簡單!真好看!


現(xiàn)在這種復雜的訂單,客戶能第一時間想到我們工廠,說明她是認可我們工廠的實力,也是認可我能替她辦好這件事。


而且我們工廠造價都不便宜,從看圖開始到報價,我們工程部大約也花了2天時間來整理,其中客戶再有增加的項目調(diào)整,前后大約5天敲定,當天雙方簽訂了合同。簽合同還有個款項預付的比例問題。


客戶公司一直是以預付40%定金,出貨檢查后再付20%的尾款這樣操作。我們工廠一直是收80%定金,出貨前再付20%尾款這樣。最終,客戶和她們領(lǐng)導也是出于信任,按照我廠的要求付了款。


付了定金的第2天,出了個大烏龍,我們老板看了我們的合同,發(fā)現(xiàn),這不對,要凈虧幾萬塊,完全做不出來。我心理卡登一下,涼了半截。


只好硬著頭皮去跟客戶商量,是否可以增加費用,如果不愿意增加,那我只好按照合同賠付違約金給她。


這真是很少出現(xiàn)的意外,因為這個訂單的展柜是在太特殊了。我和工程也是沒有想到,但是客戶還是愿意增加了費用,只要能幫她們把事做好。


感謝客戶的信任,做了不稱心的展柜,應該來鑫峰廠試試。

About a month later, she brought a group from her company to visit our factory. Since they were committed to opening physical stores with a high-end positioning, they needed a professional design team and a factory capable of producing display cases and fixtures.


I recall that day was in the afternoon, and they arrived at our factory in Qishi Town, Dongguan, with a total of three people coming from Shenzhen. Having confidence in our product manufacturing, there is a saying: "90% of clients who visit XinFeng Factory end up placing an order." This isn't boasting; it's a real probability based on my records over the past two years.


During the following year, we had very little contact, only communicating a couple of times. I remained focused on selling display cases and improving quality, with the goal of gradually aligning with international top-tier brands.


Sure enough, in July of this year, the client reached out to me.


This time, it was for a kiosk store located in MixC Mall, known for luxury, high standards, and premium prices. Given these requirements, the client wanted us to produce the kiosk displays for this location.


Upon reviewing their drawings, I was impressed by the complexity and sophistication of the design.


The fact that the client thought of our factory first for such a complex project indicates their recognition of our capabilities and trust in my ability to handle the job well.


Our factory is not cheap, and from the initial review of the drawings to providing a quote, our engineering department spent approximately two days preparing. With subsequent adjustments requested by the client, the process took around five days to finalize, culminating in the signing of the contract. There was also the matter of the advance payment ratio.


The client's company typically paid a 40% deposit and the remaining 20% upon inspection before delivery. Our factory's standard practice was to require an 80% deposit and the final 20% before shipment. Ultimately, the client and her leadership, out of trust, agreed to our terms and made the payment.


On the second day after the deposit was paid, a significant issue arose. Our CEO reviewed the contract and realized that we would incur a loss of several thousand dollars, making the project unfeasible. My heart sank at the realization.


I had to approach the client to discuss whether they could accept an increased fee. If not, I would be forced to compensate them with the penalty stipulated in the contract.


Such mishaps are rare, particularly given the exceptional nature of this order. Despite the unexpected turn of events, the client agreed to the increased cost, as long as we could deliver the desired outcome.
