上周六正值8月底,我到廣州去了,有家翡翠店收尾,過去瞅一瞅,看最終效果做的咋樣。
定制的店鋪裝修、展柜,到了現(xiàn)場,總會有一些小磕碰、小瑕疵,因為是手工定制的產(chǎn)品,再加上運輸,人工搬運、裝卸、組裝,所以過程中只要沒出現(xiàn)損壞的大問題,都是等全部組裝好之后,檢查一遍現(xiàn)場,查漏補缺,真正的奢侈品店鋪在現(xiàn)場也是一樣,有縫隙的就要補縫隙,不平整的就要移到平整。
我正好到了廣州,下午一位外貿(mào)公司的負責人劉小姐給我發(fā)來微信,說在我們工廠周邊,想來拜訪一下我們工廠,本來我人不在,是拒絕客戶來工廠的,因為工廠我已經(jīng)拍了1000多個視頻了,而且是一個實實在在的工廠,她完全可以透過我每天的視頻來看看工廠,不一定非要親自來工廠,來廠里的客戶,我都希望可以親自見面接待。
但是她確實認識了快1年了,幾次說要過來,途中總因為這樣那樣的事情耽擱,如果這次再拒絕她,下次找時間又是好久之后,于是,我讓我父親接待一下她,正巧碰上他也還在工廠,不然2小時后就要外出了。
30分鐘后,劉小姐到達工廠,我想10個客戶來鑫峰展柜廠看過的有9個都會下單。為什么呢?
這是根據(jù)這兩年以來統(tǒng)計出來的數(shù)據(jù),哪怕當場不下單,事后也會下單,不是我一個人自吹自擂。
首先,現(xiàn)在的人不會大老遠多則幾百公里,短則幾十公里,頂著大熱天到工廠來,工廠又不是什么五星級大酒店,還值得來參觀,愿意來工廠的人都是有意向做訂單有實際需要的,所以來的客戶我們都是非常有誠意的招待,希望能親自看一看,見第一面不僅是他們考核我們,也是我們觀察客戶的需求是不是真的能適合我們展柜工廠的生產(chǎn)。
我們是一個真實的工廠,誠心誠意做人做生意,如果客戶需求對口,那沒有理由不下單的。劉小姐離開工廠后,第二天,她就告訴我有一家迪拜的和日本的輕奢侈店需要裝修,這個品牌也是我購買過幾次的店鋪,不算頂奢品牌,也是靠近一線了,要求高,產(chǎn)品價格倒也不貴。
整店輸出工作量可不小,我跟劉小姐說,9月份沒法接新訂單了,她是12月份要出貨,其實時間相當緊張,第一次合作,不如先從小訂單做起,慢慢磨合。
她這又單獨發(fā)了其余柜臺圖紙來,一共有3款,每款批量做幾十個,我現(xiàn)在活動不便,不想做太緊張的訂單,先從量少的做起,這樣對客戶、對工廠對自己都是一種負責。

Last Saturday, at the end of August, I went to Guangzhou to check on a jade store that was waiting for open, to see how the final effect turned out.
Customized shopfitting and display cabinets always come with some minor scratches or imperfections upon arrival at the site. Since these are handcrafted products, plus the transportation, manual handling, loading, unloading, and assembly, as long as there are no significant damages, we usually wait until everything is assembled to conduct a thorough inspection on-site, filling gaps and adjusting any unevenness. Even luxury brand stores follow the same procedure, patching up any gaps and ensuring flat surfaces.
Just as I arrived in Guangzhou, Miss Liu, the head of a trading company, sent me a WeChat message saying she wanted to visit our factory since she was nearby. Normally, when I am not present, I would decline visits from clients because I have already filmed over a thousand videos showcasing our factory, which is a genuine manufacturing facility. She could easily get a sense of our operations through my daily videos and wouldn't necessarily need to come in person. When clients do visit, I prefer to greet them personally.
However, she had known us for almost a year and had mentioned several times her intention to visit, but each time something came up. If I refused again, it might be a long time before we could arrange another meeting. So, I asked my father to receive her, and fortunately, he was still at the factory, otherwise, he would have had to leave two hours later.
Thirty minutes later, Miss Liu arrived at the factory. Out of ten clients who visit Xin Feng Display Cabinets, nine end up placing orders. Why?
This conclusion is based on data collected over the past two years. Even if they don't place an order on the spot, they often do so afterward. It's not just self-praise.
Firstly, people don’t travel long distances, sometimes hundreds of kilometers, or even just tens of kilometers, under the hot sun to visit a factory unless they have a real interest in placing an order. Factories aren't five-star hotels worth visiting just for the sake of it. Those who come to visit are genuinely interested, and we welcome them sincerely, hoping they can see firsthand our capabilities. A first meeting is an opportunity for both parties to evaluate whether the client's needs align with our production capabilities.
We are a real factory that conducts business with sincerity. If a client's needs match our capabilities, there is no reason for them not to place an order. After Miss Liu left the factory, she informed me the next day that a light luxury brand store in Dubai and Japan required renovations. This is a brand whose shops I've visited several times; it's not a top-tier luxury brand but close to it, demanding high standards yet offering reasonable prices.
The workload for a complete store renovation is substantial. I told Miss Liu that we couldn't take new orders in September. Her deadline for delivery was December, which was quite tight for our first collaboration. I suggested starting with a smaller order to build trust gradually.
She then sent additional drawings for other counters, totaling three designs, with plans to produce dozens of each. Given my current situation and the desire to avoid overly tight schedules, I proposed starting with smaller quantities. This approach ensures responsibility towards the client, the factory, and ourselves.
