這就是自以為知道和懂的結(jié)果。其實(shí),做展柜與咸魚雞粒炒飯是一樣的,你知道或懂了的那些東西,如果不親手下廚,還是假把式。

但這些知道和懂,時(shí)常被用來(lái)瞧不起別人。比如,那些天天在網(wǎng)絡(luò)上看了幾張效果圖,在他們看來(lái),不就是做展柜嗎?有什么了不起?
曾經(jīng),我也以為做展柜是一件很簡(jiǎn)單的事情,不以為然,從小“看”到大,對(duì),沒(méi)錯(cuò),我也就是站著看看,從不動(dòng)手,不動(dòng)手的結(jié)果,就是不懂,沒(méi)法從深處來(lái)解釋,做一個(gè)業(yè)務(wù)員不難,難的是做好交付,讓客戶滿意,如果我們自己都不懂結(jié)構(gòu),那工廠的師傅更不會(huì)理解客戶的需求。
所以我的老師,堅(jiān)持讓我下車間,下車間做到什么程度呢?要能夠成為師傅的左膀右臂,甚至于你偷懶工序都沒(méi)人可以看的出來(lái),這才算真正把工藝學(xué)到家了,每一次的訂單都是積累經(jīng)驗(yàn),從拆單、開(kāi)料開(kāi)始學(xué)習(xí)起來(lái),多學(xué)幾個(gè)訂單,2-3年就可以掌握非常多的實(shí)操知識(shí),這些對(duì)于我們談客戶,做工廠都是莫大的幫助。
從源頭就開(kāi)始把控質(zhì)量,改掉之前只看不動(dòng)手的壞習(xí)慣,還有一個(gè)網(wǎng)友杠,你們都有外面采購(gòu)的配件,那別人也可以采購(gòu),我承認(rèn),是啊,做展柜有很多是外面采購(gòu)的,需要供應(yīng)商配合制作,就跟咸魚、雞、大米,一樣,都是超市菜場(chǎng)買的,假設(shè)都是同等原料的情況下,就是有廚師做的好吃,有廚師做的難吃,這是為什么呢?

Most salespeople in the display cabinet industry focus on learning (input) but neglect practicing (output). They seldom visit workshops, follow processes, study craftsmanship, or understand materials. Yet, they feel content with their perceived knowledge, which holds no real value.
This assumed knowledge is often used to belittle others. For example, some individuals who have merely seen a few renderings online might think, "Isn't it just making display cabinets? What's so impressive about that?"
Once, I also believed that making display cabinets was a simple task, taking it for granted. I grew up "watching" the process, yes, just standing there observing, never participating. The consequence of not engaging hands-on was a lack of true understanding and the inability to explain the intricacies of the craft. Being a salesperson is not difficult; the challenge lies in delivering satisfactory results to clients. If we, as salespeople, do not understand the structures, how can we expect the factory workers to grasp the clients' needs?
Therefore, my mentor insisted I work in the workshop, immersing myself to the point where I could become a reliable assistant to the master craftsmen, even to the extent that if I were to take a break, no one would notice. Only then would I truly master the craft. Each order is an opportunity to accumulate experience, starting from breaking down orders to material preparation. After handling several orders, one can acquire a wealth of practical knowledge in 2 to 3 years, which greatly benefits both customer engagement and factory operations.
Quality control begins at the source, changing the habit of merely observing without participating. Some argue that since we source components externally, others can do the same. It is true that many parts are sourced externally and require supplier collaboration, much like purchasing fish, chicken, and rice from supermarkets. Assuming equal raw materials, why do some chefs produce delicious dishes while others do not?
