一如既往的6點起床，做工廠的還是適合早起做事，所以我們都是7:30上班，每天重要的事在9點之前就處理完，利用好早晨的黃金2小時，做一些需要創(chuàng)意的工作，比如寫日記做推廣拍視頻。

今天10點要出發(fā)去深圳看材料，做展柜的工廠需要經(jīng)常時時變換新款新材料，跟上市場的角度，甚至是走在別人同行的前端。

客戶也經(jīng)常評價我們：“你們家工廠特別適合做一些復雜的東西”。

是啊，我就專做別人做不到的或者不愿意做的，喜歡挑戰(zhàn)困難，復雜程度極高。

在材料檔口逛了5個小時，正午的天氣太熱了，走在路上都睜不開眼睛，隨便吃了口真功夫快餐又繼續(xù)前進，背上的衣服濕了干干了又濕。順便走訪了一個皮料的老供應商，合作很久了，只見過2次面，我需要一些新款打樣的皮革都是發(fā)給他，每次都在1-2小時內(nèi)反饋，客戶還夸“搜索杠杠的”，這30年全靠供應商的大力支持。

一下午看了布料、皮料、拉鏈、包裝膠帶、植絨、專門用到展示道具上的材料，還吸收到了許多新的知識。比如可以在植絨上壓印紋路，有一臺100多萬進口的機器，這樣在植絨或者一些絨布上激光出來的圖案，各種天馬行空的圖案都可以得到很好的呈現(xiàn)，在我們的木質包裝盒內(nèi)飾里用上會非常漂亮，甚至是柜臺的底板面上，常規(guī)都是用皮料包的非常平整，最多就是皮料顏色材質不一樣，而我們?nèi)绻褕D案做上呢？一些小的細節(jié)可以打敗魔鬼，做到和別人與眾不同。

還有特地去打樣了兩款面料，整一些不為人知的產(chǎn)品，人家都用市場的現(xiàn)貨，我想做一些別人或者說沒有心思去做的。在道具上選了一款皮料耐磨耐刮，在非正常使用的情況下都可以提高2倍的使用壽命，不會用1年就破皮，當然價格也比普通的貴了2倍，確實符合我們使用“九年如一新”的標準，老板跟我說，現(xiàn)在幾乎大部分工廠在都不使用這款皮料，因為常規(guī)的和超耐刮的表面款式顏色都一摸一樣，價格卻翻了一倍，所以大部分都不選擇貴的，他們能用便宜的就不用貴的。我是能用好的就不用差的。

As usual, I woke up at six o'clock. Running a factory suits early risers, so we start work at 7:30 AM. Important tasks are usually completed before 9 AM, taking advantage of the golden two hours in the morning to perform creative work, such as writing diaries, marketing, and shooting videos.

Today, I had to depart for Shenzhen at 10 AM to select materials. Factories that produce display cabinets need to frequently update their materials to stay current with market trends and stay ahead of competitors.

Clients often comment, "Your factory is particularly well-suited for crafting intricate items."Indeed, we specialize in creating things that others cannot or are unwilling to make, and we enjoy tackling challenging projects of high complexity.

I spent five hours browsing material vendors under the scorching midday sun, squinting against the glare. After a quick meal at a fast-food restaurant, I continued my journey, my shirt repeatedly soaked and dried by sweat. I also visited an old supplier of leather materials with whom we have worked for a long time, though we've met face-to-face only twice. Whenever I need new samples of leather, I send them to him, and he responds within one to two hours. Clients have praised his efficiency, saying “the search is impeccable.” Over these 30 years, we have relied heavily on the support of our suppliers.

Throughout the afternoon, I examined fabrics, leathers, zippers, packaging tapes, flocked materials, and materials specifically used for display props, gaining much new knowledge in the process. For example, patterns can be pressed onto flocked materials using a specialized imported machine worth over a million yuan. This allows for intricate designs to be beautifully presented on flocked or velvet surfaces, enhancing the aesthetics of our wooden boxes and even the base plates of display cases. Typically, these bases are covered with flat leather, varying only in color and texture. However, adding patterns could set us apart from others with unique details.

Additionally, I took the time to obtain samples of two types of fabric to create some lesser-known products. While most use readily available materials, I want to craft items that others might overlook or lack the inclination to produce. I selected a type of leather for props that is durable and scratch-resistant, capable of doubling the lifespan even under non-normal usage conditions, ensuring it won’t peel after a year. Naturally, it costs twice as much as standard leather, but it aligns with our standard of “nine years like new.” The supplier informed me that almost no factories use this expensive leather because it looks identical to regular leather in terms of color and appearance, but costs twice as much. Most opt for cheaper alternatives. Conversely, I prefer using quality materials over inferior ones whenever possible.

I brought back numerous samples needed for the factory, ready to apply them to two jewelry shops in Jiangsu. The joy is akin to a woman buying a new dress she loves.
